about

Bernd Kistenmacher Classic Collection

"Wake Up In The Sun" is the second solo-album from Bernd Kistenmacher. The music was originally recorded in 1987. Especially the track "Cassandra's Dance" is a studio version of a much longer version called "Cassandra's First Dance". This track was produced for the famous "Schwingungen" radio show. The host of this show, Mr. Winfried Trenkler, wrote a foreword for this album.

"Wake Up In The Sun" was originally released on vinyl. The CD version came out later in 1987/1988. Because of a larger space on the CD the bonus track "La Tendresse" (originally released on "Head-Visions") was added. This piece of music is also available as bonustrack now.

"Berührung" is a kind of electronic symphony. recorded on a 8-track recorder. It was fully manualy played on analogue synthesizers. No sequencers were used.
Still today a big thank you to Nik Tyndall for helping Bernd Kistenmacher with his recording equipment.

We present the Bernd Kistenmacher Classic Collection in its original versions. No audio manipulations or remixes has been done. A must have for purists and collectors.
